A PRAYER TO IMPLORE THE BAETIFICATION OF THE SERVANT OF GOD
MOST REV. IGNATIUS ŚWIRSKI (1885-1968)
Lord, Almighty God,
We thank you for the gift of Your servant, Bishop Ignatius Świrski,
on whom you bestowed the fullness of the priesthood
and the grace to offer himself completely in service to the Church.
In his ministry, Bishop Ignatius imitated Your Son
by showing the sick and the suffering Christ’s merciful love
and by hastening to aid the poor and those treated unjustly.
Through Bishop Ignatius’ intercession, please grant us the following grace……,
so that Your Servant may be counted among the saints in Heaven.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
